About this event
The 8th annual Superhero for Hope 5K run/walk at Wilmington's Rockford Park, presented through the Medical Society of Delaware's Campaign for Kids. The MSD Campaign for Kids addresses seven critical issues affecting Delaware youth, including obesity, bullying, violence, substance abuse, and mental health. Proceeds fund counseling, school programs, and mental-health resources for young Delawareans facing mental-health challenges. Participants are encouraged (but not required) to dress as their favorite superhero, giving the family-friendly 9:00 AM event a fun, costumed atmosphere. Both runners and walkers are welcome on the park course. Registration is through Race Roster, with tiered pricing that rises closer to race day.
