About this event
The Space City 10 Miler & 5K is a HARRA Fall Series road race hosted by the Bay Area Running Club on the University of Houston-Clear Lake campus. Runners can tackle a certified 10-mile course (solo or as a 2-person relay in mixed, women's and men's divisions) or a 5K, all starting at 7:00 AM. The event offers cash awards for top 10-mile finishers, finisher medals for everyone who crosses the line, age-group awards in 5-year brackets and a long-sleeve tech shirt for entrants. A bare-bones registration without shirt or medal saves a few dollars for minimalists. With a flat, fast, certified layout, it's popular with runners chasing a fall PR as well as first-timers stepping up to the 10-mile distance.
