About this event
The Madison Turkey Trot is a Thanksgiving-morning 5K run, walk and roll held at the Alliant Energy Center, with United Cerebral Palsy (UCP) of Greater Dane County as the charity of record. It is a feel-good family tradition that lets you earn your holiday meal while supporting programs that help children and adults with disabilities live fuller, more independent lives. The course is designed to be accessible and inclusive, welcoming runners, walkers, strollers and wheelchairs alike, so the whole family and all abilities can take part. Proceeds stay local, funding UCP's community services in the Madison area. Expect a festive atmosphere, holiday costumes and a warm sense of community as neighbors gather before their Thanksgiving celebrations. Registration is paid and includes event perks; signing up early usually means lower pricing. Bundle up, bring the family and start Thanksgiving with movement and a good cause.
