About this event

Presented by the NEMLEC Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) Team, this free wellness gathering supports the mental health and resilience of first responders, dispatchers, corrections personnel, active-duty and former military members, and their spouses or partners. The day centers on honest conversation about the stress of service professions and pathways to recovery and purpose. Keynote speaker Travis Howze presents on leadership, mental wellness, and resilience, and resource tables from regional organizations share information on mental-health support, peer programs, and family services. The schedule opens with breakfast and networking from 7:30 to 9:00 AM, moves into the keynote from roughly 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM, and closes with lunch, resource engagement, and networking until 3:00 PM.
