About this event

The Inland Empire Out of the Darkness Community Walk gathers residents of San Bernardino and Riverside counties for a free, moving morning devoted to suicide prevention, remembrance and hope. Presented by AFSP, the walk unites survivors of suicide loss, people who have lived through their own struggles, and the friends and families who love them. Participants often wear colored honor beads that reflect their personal connection to the cause, and the day offers space to grieve, heal and connect with others who understand. Registration is free and open to all; many walkers fundraise to support AFSP's research, education and advocacy, but donations are not required to take part. Expect local mental health resources, information about support programs, and a welcoming, judgment-free atmosphere. You can walk as an individual, create a team, or join an existing one. Anyone in crisis can reach the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline any time, day or night. Come to remember someone you've lost, to support a loved one, or simply to help build a community where mental health is openly discussed and no one has to struggle alone.
