Boo at the Zoo

Boo at the Zoo is Zoo Boise's family-friendly Halloween celebration, turning the zoo into a daytime trick-or-treat adventure. Costumed kids move between candy and treat stations set up around the animal exhibits, take part in costume contests and seasonal games, and see the animals amid festive fall decorations. It is a safe, spirited way to celebrate Halloween with young children in Julia Davis Park. Zoo admission is required, with reduced pricing for members, and proceeds support the zoo's conservation work. Come in costume, arrive when gates open to beat the crowds, and bring a bag for collecting treats. Parking is available at the park, which can fill on event days, so consider arriving early or using transit.
