About this event
A beachside 5K in Bay St. Louis benefiting Magdalene House, a transitional sober-living program that gives women a safe, loving and nurturing place to recover from alcoholism and drug addiction. The fast, flat course along the water welcomes both runners and race walkers, with separate divisions and multiple age-group and skill-level awards so participants of all speeds have something to aim for. Pre-registered entrants get a guaranteed t-shirt, and everyone enjoys post-race refreshments. Starting at 8 a.m., it is an approachable, cause-driven morning that connects the community to women's addiction recovery on the Mississippi coast. Whether you run for time or walk with friends, your entry supports a local recovery home.
