About this event

Held every year on the third Saturday of October, the Mississippi Coastal Cleanup invites volunteers to help remove trash and debris from beaches, parks, bayous and harbors across Hancock, Harrison and Jackson counties on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Volunteers register online, choose a convenient meeting site, and clean their assigned area, logging the litter they collect as part of the international coastal cleanup. It's free and open to individuals, families, students and groups, with a day-of raffle for prizes like a backpack cooler and water bottle. Bring water, sunscreen, a hat and closed-toe shoes; supplies and bags are provided at the sites. A rewarding way to give back to the coast.
