Picayune Street Fair 5K / 1 Mile Championship & Power Miler Challenge

A multi-race running event tied to Picayune's Street Fair, offering something for competitors and challenge-seekers alike. The afternoon builds through three events: the Power Miler at 2 p.m., a novelty challenge of one-third-mile lunges, one-third-mile burpees and one-third-mile running; a 1-Mile Championship at 4:30 p.m.; and a 5K at 5 p.m., with an option to combine all three. Age-group awards span multiple categories across every distance, and discounted rates are offered for first responders and groups. The staggered schedule lets participants pick a single race or stack them for a bigger test, making it welcoming to casual milers and hard-core endurance athletes on the same day.
