About this event
The Central Mississippi Walk to End Alzheimer's gathers the Jackson-metro community at Trustmark Park in Pearl for a morning dedicated to ending Alzheimer's and all other dementia. Registration opens at 8:15 a.m., with the opening ceremony and walk at 9:00 a.m. The event features the Alzheimer's Association's Promise Garden ceremony, where each flower color represents a walker's personal connection to the disease. Registration is free, and participants are encouraged to fundraise in support of care, support programs, and research. Seniors, caregivers, families, and community members are all welcome, whether walking in honor of a loved one, as a caregiver, or in solidarity. It's a meaningful, family-friendly way to raise awareness and support those affected across central Mississippi.
