North Central Florida's Walk to End Alzheimer's gathers at Trinity United Methodist Church in Gainesville to honor those affected by Alzheimer's and other dementias and to fund the Alzheimer's Association's care, support and research. Registration begins at 9 a.m., the ceremony at 10 a.m. and the walk at 10:30 a.m. The heartfelt Promise Garden ceremony lets participants hold flowers in colors that reflect their own connection to the disease. Registration is free with no fee, and walkers of all ages, teams and caregivers are welcome. Raising $100 or more earns an official T-shirt. It's a meaningful morning of community, remembrance and hope.
