About this event
New Mexico's flagship fall running weekend returns to downtown Albuquerque, starting and finishing at the Mayor Kinney Civic Plaza on Sunday, October 18, 2026. The Duke City Marathon is a long-running community event that offers a full slate of distances so runners and walkers of every level can take part, with courses that wind through the city and along the Rio Grande bosque trail. Expect a festive downtown start area, aid stations, finish-line celebration, and a supportive crowd. Registration is handled online through the event website; sign up early for the best entry price and to guarantee event swag.
