About this event
Making Strides Against Breast Cancer is the American Cancer Society's signature non-competitive walk and the largest network of breast cancer awareness events in the nation. The Columbus walk gathers survivors, caregivers, families, and teams at Genoa Park along the downtown riverfront for a morning of solidarity and remembrance. There is no registration fee - participants sign up free and are encouraged to fundraise, with money supporting breast cancer research, patient services, and free lodging and rides for people in treatment. Expect a moving opening ceremony, survivor recognition, and a family-friendly walk route. Registration is online; form a team or walk solo. Wear pink, bring a sign honoring a loved one, and arrive early for the ceremony before the 9:00 AM walk.
