Fort Myers Turkey Trot 5K

The Fort Myers Track Club's Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot 5K is a beloved Southwest Florida tradition, held on the grounds of the historic Edison and Ford Winter Estates along picturesque McGregor Boulevard. The 5K run/walk starts at 7:30 AM, followed by the Tot Trot 100-yard dash for kids ages 6 and under at 8:45. Thousands of runners, walkers, and families turn out to burn off the holiday feast, many in festive costumes, on a flat and scenic course. Proceeds support the Edison and Ford Winter Estates Preservation Fund and Kimmie's Recovery Zone, a nonprofit supporting recovery from mental health and substance use disorders. Fort Myers Track Club members receive a 20 percent discount. Register online in advance and by November 1 to guarantee your shirt size; race-day registration is also available.
