About this event
NAMIWalks Southeast Wisconsin is a free community walk that rallies the greater Milwaukee region around mental-health awareness, support and hope. As part of the country's largest mental-health awareness movement, the event unites people living with mental-health conditions, their families and friends, care providers, employers and advocates in a visible show of unity against stigma. Registration is free, and participants are invited to fundraise so NAMI can continue offering its classes, peer support groups and advocacy at no charge. The route is non-competitive and accessible, and the day is filled with community resource tables, encouragement and connection. Whether you are walking in memory of someone, standing with a loved one in recovery, or simply lending your voice to the cause, you will be part of a caring crowd working toward mental health for all. Advance online registration is encouraged, and walk-up participants are welcome.
