About this event
Bridging the Gap to Mental Health is a free community wellness fair in Portsmouth built around mental-health awareness, connection, and resilience. The organizers set out to create a safe and welcoming space where people feel seen, heard, and encouraged to talk openly about mental health. Over the course of the morning and early afternoon, attendees can hear from speakers, connect with wellness resources and mental-health professionals, and take part in interactive experiences and open conversations about the challenges many people quietly carry. The event is intentionally broad in who it welcomes: people personally navigating mental-health struggles, those supporting a loved one, anyone looking for local resources, and community members who simply want to learn. All ages are welcome and parking is free. Doors open at 9:40 AM, and admission is free. Because the fair also gathers wellness vendors, healthy-food vendors, and community partners, attendees will find a range of tables and services to explore in one place. Come as you are, whether you want to participate fully or just quietly gather information and support.
