Savannah Lighted Boat Parade

Kick off the holiday season along historic River Street as decorated, illuminated boats glide down the Savannah River in this festive annual parade. Crowds gather on the riverfront plaza to watch the twinkling procession, enjoy the holiday atmosphere, and soak up the glow reflected on the water. It's a free, family-friendly tradition that pairs well with dinner or shopping along the cobblestone waterfront. Bundle up for the November evening chill, arrive early to claim a good viewing spot along the railing, and plan for busy downtown parking, garages nearby are your best bet. Great for photos and an easy, magical night out for all ages.
