Boo in the Zoo

Boo in the Zoo is the Chattanooga Zoo's merry-not-scary Halloween celebration, held on select October evenings (Oct 10, 11, 17, 18, 24, 25, and 31). After the zoo reopens for the evening, families in costume make their way through trick-or-treat stations, scavenger hunts, costume contests, and festive fall decorations throughout the grounds. It's designed for younger kids and families who want the fun of Halloween without the frights. Event admission is required and tickets are best purchased in advance since evenings can sell out. Bring the kids in costume, plan for cooler evening temperatures, and check the specific dates before you go.
