Denver Christkindlmarket

The Denver Christkindlmarket is downtown Denver's favorite free holiday tradition, an authentic German-style Christmas market that runs from November 20 through December 23 at the Tivoli Quad on the Auraria Campus. Wander among festively decorated wooden huts selling handcrafted ornaments, gifts, and imported European goods, and warm up with glühwein (spiced wine), hot cocoa, bratwurst, giant pretzels, and other holiday treats. Live music and seasonal entertainment add to the cozy winter-wonderland atmosphere. For 2026 the market expands its footprint with additional vendors and huts. Admission is free, so you can browse as often as you like all season; food, drinks, and gifts are pay-as-you-go. The Auraria light-rail station is steps away, making transit the easiest way to visit.
