Glow at the Gardens is Denver Botanic Gardens' enchanting Halloween-season celebration, held over two selected weekends in October (October 15-18 and 21-24) from 6 to 9 p.m. Wander an illuminated path through the gardens after dark, where enchanted landscapes come alive with live performers and hundreds of hand-carved pumpkin displays. Every jack-o'-lantern and larger-than-life sculpture is freshly carved from real, locally grown pumpkins, making it a uniquely artistic take on Halloween. The event is spooky, silly, and spirited rather than scary, so it suits families as well as adults. Tickets are timed-entry and must be purchased online in advance for a specific date and time; the event sells out weeks ahead every year and tickets are not sold onsite.
