About this event
The City of Slidell fills Heritage Park with holiday cheer during its Christmas Under the Stars celebration on select December evenings (Dec. 13-14 and Dec. 20-23), part of a season that also includes the Griffith Park light display. Families can stroll animated light displays, visit Slidell's Nativity, enjoy live entertainment, browse craft vendors, grab food and drinks, let the kids ride kiddie rides and glide on a seasonal ice-skating rink. It's a warm, free community holiday tradition on the Northshore, running 6-9 p.m. Admission to the park is free; some rides and the skating rink may carry a small fee. A cozy, family-friendly way to celebrate the season.
