About this event

White Light Night is Mid City Baton Rouge's largest art festival, an open-house-style evening market where more than 40 local businesses stay open late and welcome hundreds of pop-up artists, makers and food vendors into their spaces. Strolling the Government Street and Jefferson Highway corridors, visitors browse original art, handmade goods and gifts, catch live music, sample food-truck fare and soak up the neighborhood's creative energy on a single festive night. Entry is free and open to all ages, making it one of the metro's most accessible cultural events. A portion of proceeds supports the local arts scene. Come early, wear comfortable shoes and plan to park and walk.
