The Check-in: A Mental Health Summit

The Check-in is a community mental health summit built around inspiration, healing conversations, and resources to support wellbeing. Held at MetroHealth-Cleveland Heights, the gathering emphasizes connection and encourages attendees to make their mental health a priority, whether they are just beginning a wellness journey or continuing one already underway. The program opens with an inspirational keynote from actor Lamman Rucker, hosted by media personality Micah Manning, and continues with thought-provoking panel discussions and interactive breakout sessions that put practical wellness tools in attendees' hands. A Mental Health Resource Marketplace connects participants directly with therapists and community organizations, and on-site food vendors, including Squash The Beef and Carter's BBQ, keep the day going. The summit runs Saturday, October 10, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., with check-in as doors open at noon. Attendance is free, parking is free, and all ages are welcome. Presented by The Serene Foundation, Cuyahoga County Councilman Michael J. Houser, Sr., and MetroHealth.
