About this event

A Matter of Balance is an evidence-based, eight-session falls-prevention program for older adults, offered by Missoula Aging Services and meeting weekly at the McIntosh Loop Clubhouse. The class helps seniors reduce their fear of falling and stay active through practical strategies, gentle strength and balance exercises, and safety awareness. Participants who complete at least five of the eight sessions earn a graduation certificate. The program is designed for adults 60 and older living independently, and people who use mobility aids are welcome. Class size is capped at eight, so registration is required. A $40 contribution is suggested, with no-cost options available for Montana residents who need them.
