About this event
The Walk to End Alzheimer's returns to New Orleans on the lakefront lawn of the University of New Orleans, uniting families, caregivers, and supporters in the fight against Alzheimer's and all other dementia. Walkers are welcomed at 9:00 a.m., followed by the moving Promise Garden ceremony at 9:30 a.m. and the roughly one-mile walk at 10:00 a.m. The Promise Garden flowers each represent a personal connection to the disease, creating a powerful visual of community and hope. Registration is free, and participants are encouraged to fundraise to support care, support programs, and research. Whether you walk in honor of a loved one, as a caregiver, or in solidarity, it's a meaningful, family-friendly morning of remembrance, awareness, and community strength.
