The Calabash Turkey Trot is a Thanksgiving Day tradition on the southern North Carolina coast near Calabash, staged at the SeaTrail Convention Center in Sunset Beach. Choose the 10K at 7:00 a.m., the 5K at 8:30 a.m., or a 1-Mile at 9:15 a.m.; ambitious runners can take on all three in the 3-Race Challenge. Entry runs $25 to $55 by distance, with a $130 challenge option. Packet pickup is the day before (Nov 25) from noon to 7:00 p.m. at the convention center.
