About this event
A Thanksgiving-morning tradition, the Baton Rouge Turkey Trot gives the whole family a way to earn their holiday feast with a 5K (3.1 miles) or a 1-mile fun run/walk. The relaxed, festive event welcomes serious runners, casual joggers, stroller-pushing parents and costumed walkers alike. Morning start times leave plenty of the day for cooking and gathering. Register through the event's RunSignup page as an individual or a team; check there for the exact start time, staging area and packet pickup details. Many trotters turn out in turkey hats and Thanksgiving gear, so bring your holiday spirit and a light layer for the late-November chill.
