About this event
The October #LoveYourWatershed Cleanup, hosted by the Jordan River Commission on Saturday, October 10, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. to noon, brings volunteers to the 7000 South Trailhead to help clean up the Jordan River and its parkway. Part of the popular monthly #LoveYourWatershed series, this fall cleanup focuses on removing trash and debris from the trail and riverbanks to protect water quality and habitat in the Salt Lake Valley. It's a rewarding, family-friendly way to spend a couple of autumn hours outdoors giving back to the community. The event is free; registering ahead helps organizers prepare enough supplies. Wear closed-toe shoes and clothes that can get dirty, bring a water bottle and sun protection, and dress for cooler fall weather. Gloves and cleanup gear are typically provided on site. Sign up through the event page.
