About this event

Hike for Hunger is a free, community give-back ruck march in Omaha that doubles as a food drive for a local pantry. Participants follow the Keystone Trail from Stinson Park with a turnaround at Democracy Park - a roughly 12-mile route - carrying weighted packs, ideally around 30 pounds of donated food. Can't carry a full load? You can still walk and drop donations at the start. Accepted items include canned and dry goods, soap, and laundry products. The event steps off at 8:00 a.m.; registration is free, with an optional t-shirt available for purchase (order by October 5). A meaningful way to log miles while stocking a food pantry.
