About this event

The WHO-RAY Fun Run is a laid-back community run and walk around Lake Fayetteville that benefits Northsong Wild Bird Rehabilitation, a local nonprofit that rescues, rehabilitates, and releases injured wild birds. Participants follow a 5.5-mile paved trail at their own pace, no running required, and both in-person and virtual options are available so anyone can take part. Starting from Veterans Memorial Park, the morning runs 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM and is free to attend, with free parking and a welcome for all ages. Funds raised go directly toward the care of injured and orphaned wild birds. It's a family-friendly way to get outside, stay active, and support local wildlife and community wellbeing.
