About this event
The 5K for Peace invites people of all ages and abilities to walk or run together for compassion, dignity and hope through historic Savannah. The chip-timed 5K steps off at 9:00 a.m. from Daffin Park, followed at 9:20 a.m. by a shorter 1-Mile Family Loop for kids and casual participants. Proceeds benefit Rooted Ummah, a Savannah 501(c)(3) nonprofit that supports unhoused neighbors, refugees, immigrants and displaced communities. Registration is $40 for the 5K and $27 for the family mile, handled online through RunSignup. This is a welcoming community event as much as a race, so bring the whole family and stand together for a good cause in one of Savannah's most beloved parks.
