About this event
This family-friendly 5K run/walk on the Burlington waterfront raises awareness of PANS and PANDAS, autoimmune neuropsychiatric conditions that affect children and young adults. Now in its third year, the event starts at 10:00 a.m. at the Burlington Surf Club and welcomes everyone from competitive runners to families out for a good-cause walk. Net proceeds support the Neuroimmune Psychiatric Disorder (NIPD) clinic at Dartmouth Health. Participants enjoy a DJ, snacks, cool t-shirts, medals, prizes, and on-site resources and experts. It's a warm, welcoming community gathering that pairs a scenic Lake Champlain course with meaningful education about an often-overlooked condition.
