River Roux Olympic Triathlon

The River Roux Olympic Triathlon in New Roads offers a scenic Louisiana multisport race centered on False River, with Olympic-distance (roughly 1.5K swim, 40K bike, 10K run) and shorter options available. The open-water lake swim, flat and fast bike leg and lakeside run make it a well-rounded course that suits both athletes chasing a strong Olympic-distance time and those stepping up in distance. The October timing brings cooler, more comfortable racing weather than the Louisiana summer. Registration is through RunSignup, where you can select your event and find the start time, transition area, packet pickup and staging details. Bring your bike, helmet, wetsuit if you like and standard triathlon gear.
