About this event
A Thanksgiving Day tradition in the heart of Richmond, the Richmond Turkey Trot offers a timed 5K, an untimed 5K for walkers, a Kids' Division Fun Run for ages 11 and under, and a free 100-meter dash for children eight and under. The festive, family-oriented morning is built for runners chasing a time and for families who simply want to move together before the holiday feast. Registration is handled on RunSignup, with discounted early pricing that climbs as race day nears; the youngest runners' 100M dash is free. Bring the whole family, wear your turkey-day best, and share your photos with #TurkeyTradition. A portion supports community beneficiaries including the Highland Support Project.
