About this event
Around Veterans Day, Habitat for Humanity Kansas City hosts its Veterans Build, a multi-day volunteer build honoring those who served while constructing affordable homes for the community. Veterans, active-duty service members, and civilian supporters are all welcome to grab a hammer - no construction experience is needed, and Habitat provides tools, training, and guidance. Volunteers can choose one or more days across November 10-13, with shifts running about 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Register through the event page; wear closed-toe shoes and dress for the weather.
