Welcome to the New Wellyoh.com: Our Relaunch, and the Three Missions Behind It

By Melissa Shaw, LCSW-BACS, Wellness Educator, Wellness Coach & Creator of Wellyoh.com

If you've been to Wellyoh before, welcome back, you're about to notice that a great deal has changed. And if this is your first visit, welcome. Either way, I'm so glad you're here, because today I finally get to share something I've poured my heart into: the new Wellyoh.com is here.

This was not a fresh coat of paint. We rebuilt Wellyoh from the roots up. I want to tell you why we did it, and what it means for you, whether you're looking for help, offering it, or simply here cheering the mission on.

Why we re-rooted

Wellyoh started as a way to find wellness providers. But real life isn't a list you look something up in once and walk away from. Wellness is connected, ongoing, and so much bigger than any single appointment. So we rebuilt Wellyoh to be honest to how a well life actually works, a discovery ecosystem for wellness, not just a directory.

In plain terms, that means Wellyoh is now more comprehensive, more connected, and, my favorite part, super searchable. Search in everyday words. Find someone even when you can't quite spell their name. Discover local events and classes, learn from real articles, save the people you trust, and keep it all in one place you actually come back to. It's the tool I always wished existed. So we built it.

Three missions, one Wellyoh

Underneath everything are three missions that hold together. Each one is a reason we exist, and, honestly, each one is a promise.

1. For everyone searching, helping you build a well life

Finding good care shouldn't feel like ten browser tabs and a dead end. Wellyoh brings the whole picture of wellness together, physical, mental, holistic, home, and community, so you can find what fits and decide for yourself. Everything is shown as it is self-reported; we don't rank or pretend to screen. We simply hand you honest information and the tools to explore it: plain-language and "sounds-like" search, a map of what's happening near you, articles to learn from, and a place to save your people. Anyone who wants to stay well belongs here, and searching is always free.

2. For providers, a hub that helps you be found and grow

If you do this work, you already know how hard it can be to simply be found. Wellyoh is built to be a needed hub, a place where you can be included, easier to find, and able to grow, connecting you to the very people already looking for what you offer. Your own profile, visibility in search, both the community and professional calendars, and even the chance to contribute articles to our learning area, credited to you, and linked to your profile. When providers thrive here, everyone searching wins too.

3. Together, we can help more

This is the mission within the mission. Wellyoh isn't only a resource hub, it's built to give back. Our goal is that a portion of what we earn goes toward planned philanthropy: one day helping fund safe housing for older teens who have no safe place to go. That's why I often say every provider membership helps three people at once, the person searching, the provider serving, and someone they may never meet, through giving. We're only getting started, and we are doing our best to do more good while doing well.

Come grow with us

So, welcome to the new Wellyoh.com. Look around. Search something. Save a favorite. If you're a provider, claim your place. And if this mission speaks to you, share it with someone who needs it. Together, we can help more, and that, more than anything, is why we re-rooted.

With gratitude,
Melissa
